Brie’s love for cooking started in early childhood learning from her mother in the kitchen and helping her family throw many large gatherings. She was always finding inspiration sifting through cookbooks and recreating dishes for family and friends. Her passion for quality ingredients was passed down from her grandfather Don, where he would say at the dinner table “Good Groceries!”
In 2013 Brie moved from her hometown of Bend, OR to Portland, OR where she then discovered that her passion for feeding others, along with her culinary and organization skills can help bridge the gap for busy families who want to enjoy nutritious meals in the comfort of their homes. It was 2014 when Brie founded “Brie Made Meals” and began working as a private chef for multiple families in the Portland area.
When Brie confronted a variety of health issues in 2017, this inspired her to take control of her own health using a holistic approach. Brie is now a certified Holistic Chef and continues to expand her culinary knowledge and is passionate about preparing creative, delicious, nutrient dense foods to be enjoyed with your loved ones.
In her free time she enjoys spending quality time with her fiancé Jordin, baby boy Brooks and dog Oliver traveling and enjoying the Pacific NW. Listening to her favorite audio books and podcasts as well as practicing yoga and mindfulness.
